Can someone recommend a Thai Visa place in Pattaya that can sort out my retirement Visa. I did chat with one I was quoted 65,000 thai baht. I'm sailing from Australia to Thailand. Kind regards.

Expats looking for assistance with obtaining a retirement visa in Pattaya can consider agents like Maneerat Visa on Soi 13/2 and Nan Services, which can be found on Facebook. The costs quoted for assistance typically range from 60,000 to 90,000 THB, depending on the visa type and any obstacles that may arise, especially if the applicant arrives on a tourist or visa-exempt status. Sogood Visa offers services starting at around 56,000 THB, with specific prices dependent on the individual's financial situation. It's advised to review services beforehand due to varying costs and requirements.

Maik Maik he cannot do it by himself if he arrives on a tourist visa or visa-exempt. Only a handful of agents can get around that and they ask for up from 60,000 to 90,000 THB
yes, the normal price for this is up from 60,000 THB thru 90,000 THB. The agent will have to remove many "obstacles" if you do not arrive and enter Thailand on a Non-Imm-Longterm visa. if you arrive visa-exempt or on a tourist visa, the first BIG and not only obstacle is that you cannot get a Thai bank account on this entry. You but need the Thai bank account with your own funds sitting in it, which must be a minimum of 800,000 THB, in order to be able to get the initial 90-days Non-Imm-O retirement visa issued, and the subsequent 12-months extension of the stay permit. If you took the effort and applied for the correct 90-days Non-Imm-O Retirement Visa visa before sailing to Thailand, the price of an agent would be 5000 THB for opening the bank account and 7500 - 12,500 for getting your 12-months extension
