TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks advice on obtaining different visa options for retiring and marrying in Thailand. Responses highlight the importance of using a visa agent, suggest specific resources like the THAI VISA CENTRE, and emphasize the possibility of managing visa applications independently through the Thai Embassy. The NON-O Retirement visa is recommended, especially for those over 50, and advice is offered on the extension process.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
  • Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
  • For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
  • Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.
  • Join the Thai Visa Advice Facebook Group to ask your questions, and get advice from others.

You started on the right track... get a Visa agent! Speaking from experience, it saved me from so much stress and wasted time.

Although they can help you you may want to check previous posts on the group as you may find info that you need without an agent. Many DIY..

Or ask questions here and others with experience may be able to assist.
