Hi all, I just arrived in thailand on a DTV. Does anyone have any useful tips / tricks to share that you’ve picked up from your own journeys?
Please note I’ve been to Thailand many times as a holiday maker but this will be my first time working here.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A newcomer in Thailand on a DTV visa asks for advice from those with experience. One commenter suggests taking time to explore different areas before committing to a condo rental, advising inspections during various times of the day to gauge the environment.
My tip is don’t run out and rent the first condo you find , give it a month or so in different areas ( for the honeymoon period) to wear off. Visit a condo at peak times for example do an inspection in the day, but also visit the area around 5pm ( peak times) and also in the morning
