TLDR : Answer Summary
When traveling with a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) to Thailand, it is commonly advised to have at least 6 months of validity left on your passport to prevent any complications. Some comments suggest even longer durations, like 5 years, if you wish to avoid any potential issues, as the requirements can vary by airline and immigration policies.
I have seen your pointless comments (often with inaccurate information) so many times now, I just have to ask... Why, what's the point, does it give you some kind of satisfaction to mislead people or act like a clown? π€ I don't get it and I sincerly want to know!
It's not specific to DTV. It's up to the airline and immigration when you enter the country. Not sure there's any hard rule about it, but generally it's advised to have at least 6 months validity left on your passport (when entering any country) to avoid potential issues.
If a passport has less than six months valid some airlines will not accept depending on where you want to travel too. Also most if not all countries that you apply at their Embassy or consulate for visas required a minimum of six months on application. Seeing as most passports last ten years, forfeiting less than six months is better than refusals anywhere.
