Iโ€™m looking for a good hotel in Ho Chi Minh City where I can stay for a while while waiting for a visa. If anyone has recommendations or experience with hotels in the city, Iโ€™d really appreciate it!

I stayed in a small but clean monastic room directly above a Banh Mi shop called Grandma Lu's in Japan Town area of District 1 while I waited. Affordable, comfortable and in a wonderful area away from most tourist riff-raff.
