Hi Guys, It's been really useful reading all your stories and seeing the clear responses, so, thank you!

Here's my situation:

-VOA beginning March

-30 extension stamped just before they announced amnesty (would have run out early May)

-Our embassy will not provide us with letters, but we think our only option is the 30 day tourist visa extension (which requires embassy letters)

Any help greatly appreciated!

And I think at this time the O/P has an idea of what their limited options are.

you're plain running out of options..

You've been on amnesty since your 30 day extension stamp ran out back in May (that's almost FOUR months ago :O ) . The amnesty was granted so you could find a long term visa/extension solution to stay here OR so you could go back to where you came from .. :(

Without the letter from your embassy or from a doctor/hospital stating you can't travel there is no 30 day extension :(
