Hi all.

I'm trying to book with an sha + plus hotel, offering a; day 1 and Day 5 package with 2 pcr tests and pickup from airport. Been emailing but they don't understand what I'm asking I guess.

3 or 4 hotels I've tried to book direct through their own websites.. either always end up on booking.com or another site.

The Thai pass site says do not book with 3rd parties and go direct.

Another hotel I looked at only shows the package with 3rd party sites not on theirs.

Getting frustrated. I've been going to Thailand for 22years and now 2.3 years of not going.. I AINT GIVING UP.

ADVICE PLEASE

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing difficulty booking an SHA+ Plus hotel in Thailand that includes a Day 1 and Day 5 package with PCR tests and airport pickup. They expressed frustration as many hotels redirect to third-party booking sites despite the Thai Pass advising against them. The community provided a range of suggestions including contacting hotels directly, using platforms like Agoda, and checking official hotel listings for test and go eligibility.

I booked both via agoda and sent the confirmation email that arrived within minutes. Oddly, many hotels only have day 1 options and you must find a day 5 marked one. My pass was approved in under 12 hours.

There is an official website that mentions all hotels suitable for test and go or sandbox. You choose a hotel and are immediately connected to the booking site of the hotel. If you use that you do not have to search if hotel is usable

The same thing happened to me and it was really frustrating. I finally gave up emailing and called them during their office hours. They still messed everything up and I had to call them multiple times to get everything correct. It finally worked but it was a hassle. It wasn't with Grande Centre Point Terminal 21 which does seem to be pretty good. A friend booked them through Agoda and they responded right after for more information to issue the confirmation letter.

The way I did it was to get my friend in Thailand to ring the hotel and book it directly she also checked to make sure it was a good deal with included testing and pickup. She paid on my behalf and the hotel emailed me confirmation.

You just need to find a good hotel. For example here's one advertising Day 1 or Day 5 tests that you can book separately. They even offer a choice of options/discounts for day 5 since you don't need the built in airport transport that day 1 comes with.

I've seen a few graphics like this floating around the Farangs Stranded Abroad group.
