TDAC: I am on a non O visa based on marriage to a Thai national. Box „Country of residence resp. Address”. I am not sure if I should insert my country (Switzerland) or Thailand.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether an individual with a Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai national should list their country of residence as Switzerland or Thailand on the TDAC form. Responses suggest that since the individual holds a Thai visa, it is advisable to use their Thai address. Participants highlight that it ultimately depends on where the individual resides most of the time, and clarify that Thailand is indeed an option available on the form.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

If you have a long stay NON tourist visa, you can put your Thailand address.

On the TDAC Thailand listed as Kingdom of Thailand
Simon *******
It won't allow country of residence to be Thailand, as Thais don't need the Tdac

Your country is the same as where your passport was issued. In this case Switzerland 🇨🇭

You wouldn’t find a Thailand option anyway as Thai nationals are not required to complete a TDAC.

@Frangipani ******
there is an option for Thailand

Jo Clemente Jesus Christ - don’t you people read previous posts?

I don’t know how many posts I have been tagged in since the below.

Initially, there was no option for Thailand but now there is. Jan Kenneth Nesland kindly informed me of this several hours ago.

Thank you.

your country of residence is where you legally live. It doesn't need to be the same country as your passport. And Thailand is on the list.

Thank you, Jan already replied to my comment and advised that Thailand is now an option to select, which it wasn’t before.

how sure are you? If he has a thai passport he doesn't have to fill it in. 🤷‍♂️

he said he has a visa. Thai people don't need (can't have) Thai visas. But, yes, if he had a Thai passport he wouldn't need to file the DTAC.

Where do you reside? Put your address where you live.
Dca *****
Where do you live?? (where you spend most of your time generally in any given year)

Nonetheless, since you have been issued a Non–O Thai Visa, then it's just easier and more straightforward to input your Thai address on your TDAC

Doesn’t matter if it’s TDAC, you can choose if you have residence in both countries.

You have a visa I would put down my Thai address
