TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for an ED (education) visa at the Thai embassy in Kuala Lumpur and inquires about potential additional documents that may be requested during the application process. They have previously held a tourist visa and a non-B visa for teaching but need to show their resignation letter due to a change in job status. The discussion highlights the importance of bringing printed copies of required documents and the possibility of the embassy requesting extra documentation, such as a bank statement, to prove financial capability for studying in Thailand.

Make sure you print out all of required documents as they're not available at the embassy. One lady almost had to leave, print off the form and go back the next day (booking alternative flights etc) but luckily I had printed off an extra one so I gave it to her. It's very straightforward if you follow the rules in KL.

If you visit this link, check the country of origin of your passport, than click here on the correct line, click again of the visa of your choice, print out this checklist and application form. Fill them out, tick the boxes, make sure you have all the asked requirements, make the on-line appointment to apply and an appointment for the next working day to pick up the passport. KL Thai Embassy is know as straight forward, got all in place on application than it is okay.

That question can only be answered by the person who takes your application. What ever he/she thinks is needed.

yes, it's that my question.... what I can be ask by the embassy?
Robert *******
For Example: People got asked in some other Thai Consulates for a bank statement as proof they can afford a one year study in Thailand. This was not in the requirements but as the Embassy can ask for additional documents, they are allowed to ask for it.
Robert *******
No, it means that the employee of the Embassy can ask you questions about your application. it does not say the applicant does not have to show any more proofs as required on the print out or does not has to answer any questions.
