Good day. I hope someone can help me. I'll be studying in a University in Thailand for a four year course. I'll be arriving in bangkok by August 12, what are the requirements I need to get an Ed visa? I can apply for visa in Thailand, right? How many days are given to me upon arrival at the airport? Thank you so much in advance.

Sir, I have read an article that international students at Thai Universities may not need to exit the country upon processing of the ed visa, is it true?

Maybe, but check with your university to see if they can do it in country or send you out of the country.

ASK them, without the Visa you can not stay in Thailand to attend classes for 4 years. You need their papers to apply for the visa.

Seeing you're from the Philippines you will get 30 days Visa Exempt Entry. The University may have the option for you to apply inside Thailand but I would ask them before you make your way over here.

You apply for a Visa at a Thai Embassy or Consulate before you go to Thailand. If you're going to study at a University for a 4 year course the University will send you all the papers needed to apply for this ED visa.
