Hello, i already got my extension stamp till 29.3. so i went to the phuket immigration (beach office) today to ask for another extension after my flights out got canceled. They told me i can only get a 7 day extension (would coast the usual 1900 bath) or come with an embassy letter for 30 days (i already wait for my embassy to send that). The officer told me for another 30 day extension with embassy letter i would need to go to another immigration office. He also told me even my extension runs out on 29.3. it would be no problem to show up at the office on monday because of a public holiday on sunday.. can anyone confirm similiar experience? Anyone know about the different immigration offices in Phuket? Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on visa extension options after their flight was canceled. They've received a 7-day extension option or can apply for a 30-day extension with an embassy letter at a different immigration office. Following comments confirm that if the extension runs out on a Sunday, visiting the immigration office the next working day incurs no penalties.

from which enbassy - German embassy BKK?

Up until now, no German letter were emailed at all. You had to go in person to BKK, or get one sent in the mail from consulate in Phuket. Please advice, thank you

I was at immigration office Phuket town all day giving information. It’s indeed correct, visa with expired date 28-29 March can extend on Monday 30th March without penalty.

If you choose to come Monday, please come at 1pm, as we have given several queue numbers already for Monday morning.

normal rules, your Extension of Stay has as last day Sunday 29 march 2029, if you walk in Thai Immigration at the first working day after there will be no fine for overstay.

You an not apply for a second Extension of Stay, that is why the officer tells you, if you apply again, the application will be not approved and you get 7 days to leave the country. Cost of application is the normal price 1.900 Thb.

If you can get the letter from your Embassy, that you could not find a flight out of Thailand, you can get at the main Immigration Office in Phuket Town an application under consideration stamp with a no more than 30 days extra stay to find a flight leaving this country.
