good afternoon everybody.

i would like to ask some questions. 

1) i want to change my visa from Non-B to Non-O(marriage visa). can i do without leaving from Thai?

2) After i got O visa , can i still request the Work Permit ? 

does anybody have experience ? pls kindly advise .. thanks

, just so you're clear First off you are NOT on a Non-B visa, you are on an extension of stay and you are NOT switching to a Non-O visa either.

You are changing the reason for your extension to one based on employment to one based on marriage, That's it.

You are not switching visa types.. <- because you're NOT on any visa here at all you're on an extension <- which is not a visa ;)

You can not change type of visa inside Thailand if you are on the 90 days of this visa. If you have an Extension of Stay you can cancel your current Extension of Stay and apply for a NEW Extension of Stay based on other reason. Questions are: Do you have an Extension of Stay and On what basis do you like to switch?

IF you find an Employer that is willing to hire you he can apply for the Work Permit.

Than you have 2 options. Wait till you have 30 days left on this Extension of Stay and apply for a new 1 year Extension of Stay based on being married to a Thai National or cancel your current Extension of Stay and apply directly for the new Extension of Stay based on married etc.
