Due to arrive on May 30th. Debating whether to delay it for a few days incase the test and go gets lifted on June 1st. Although I can't see it happening so quick.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is considering delaying their May 30th arrival in Thailand, speculating that the current Test and Go entry requirement might be lifted by June 1st. While there are no official rumors confirming this change, some comments suggest waiting until June or July for potential updates, as ongoing PCR testing requirements can be costly and burdensome for travelers. The conversation reflects a mix of concern regarding travel restrictions and the desire to reconnect with family despite the inconvenience.

I dont care about 1 night in a hotel for PCR test, I just want to go every month again. I do understand those with family the costs of PCR add up and gets expensive.

yep agree, so over testing as I have to do 2 for work every 2 weeks plus the flight tests but hey it is what it is and to get home to family I am willing to do any tests they want.

it's just always impossible to guess what will happen here until the law is published in the Royal Gazette and that's usually only 1-2 days before it should take effect. So you can't plan based on any of this.

If delaying your trip is worth saving $140 and a few hours of waiting

have you consider that it's not about 140 people are worried if they arrive with asymptomatic COVID they will end up spending alot of money being quarantined in hotels or sent to hospital?
Brandon ************
@Tai **********
that's to be a risk for many more months because there's still going to be ATK on arrival for the foreseeable future.

@Brandon ***********
that's right there is this present risk not the 140 bucks

No rumours about this yet. Some about July 1st but still just rumours/press speculation.
