Does anybody know the current situation about flying to Thailand regarding COVID regulations? Is there still quarantine or any other stuff you need to show?

TLDR : Answer Summary
As of the latest updates, there is no quarantine or insurance required for most travelers flying to Thailand, with the exception of those on Special Tourist Visas (STV) or non-OA/OX visas. Travelers must show proof of vaccination; otherwise, a lab-certified COVID-19 test (ATK or PCR) taken within 72 hours before travel is needed. Some travelers have reported that entry was straightforward, needing only a vaccination certificate and passport upon arrival.

How is that a stupid question? If you don’t have anything to contribute then just scroll on by. If you really think Thai embassies will have up to the minute information about entry procedures and visa options within Thailand you’ve either not been in this group long or are just showing your ignorance.

Side note, I entered BKK from South Africa via Ethiopia this week. Vaccine passport to check in. No questions about covid at bkk but health station for Yellow Fever. Scan code and fill in form. They did not verify i did it. Now i get online gambling spam every day.

Yellow fever is the only requirement for vaccinations to enter Thailand and that is ONLY if you are from or have travelled through countries where it’s prevalent. See list here.

No quarantine or insurance requirements (unless on a STV OR non OA/OX visa).

The only thing required is vaccination status. If vaccinated then show proof of such. If not you need a lab certified ATK or PCR test 72 before travel.

PCR or the cheaper ATK is fine for entry. Must be lab certified not self administered. Check that your airline doesn’t require PCR.
