Should I change my flight to Phuket to avoid quarantine after arriving in Thailand?

Hello! I need some advice. I already have my Tourist VISA and COE to come to Bangkok from the USA on July 21st. Should I change my flight to go to Phuket to avoid the quarantine requirements? It doesn't matter where I am in Thailand because I will be working online. How would I go about doing that? Thanks!

Should you? That's entirely up to you. If your COE is already issued then you've already booked an ASQ in Bangkok. Is it refundable? Is your flight to Bangkok refundable?

Changing the COE is easy, just email the embassy. You'll probably need to apply for a new one.

Thank you! Yes, both are refundable. I've heard different things about where to stay in Phuket. Is there a government regulation about that?

Any hotel that is "SHA PLUS" certified you can stay at. Need to stay at the same hotel for the first 7 days. Last 7 days you can change hotels.
