Can I apply for a Non-O visa for my father inside Thailand if he comes on a Thai Pass and visa exception?

Good day everyone! I'm planning to take my father to Thailand, however embassy in my country refused to make him Non-O visa as a dependent (I have a Non-B based on employement and he is older than 55). The company I work for agreed to support the papers that I will need for it as well. I was thinking of him coming here with Thai Pass and visa exception. Would it be possible to apply for Non-O in case like this inside of Thailand? What documents will I need to provide from my company? Thank you very much.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question addresses the possibility of applying for a Non-O visa for the user's father while in Thailand, particularly after arriving through a Thai Pass and visa exception. Responses indicate that it may be feasible to apply for a dependent Non-O visa within Thailand, provided the local immigration office offers this option, and the employer can supply the necessary documentation. Suggestions include having the company's HR liaise with immigration for the latest requirements and mentioning the possibility of entering Thailand on a 30-day visa exemption before starting the Non-O visa process.

can bring him in on 30 day visa exemption and later get him started on his own non-O visa process. Details on many past comments in this group.

obviously he has to comply with TP requrements

Great. Already looking for a quarantine hotel. I saw TP website sells insurances, is it any good? Seems not very expensive.

As long as your local immigration office sells that type of in-country Non-O and your employer can provide all necessary papers for that, he can apply for in-country Non-O dependent to a foreigner who is working in Thailand legally. Have your company HR person talk to the local immigration office for the latest requirements. The documents to be submitted are immigration-office-specific.

Here is the general information, which cannot be guaranteed as the latest.

Depends on his nationality, it may or may not be better to get him SETV before he flys in.
