Hi everyone! My husband and I are preparing our DTV applications. He will apply as the Main Applicant (standard employment). I will apply as his Dependent because my income is in crypto and my contract is under strict NDA, making a primary application too risky. We are legally married.

For those who have applied as a dependent recently, I’d appreciate your insights:

* Timing: Should we submit our e-Visa applications simultaneously, or is it better to wait until his primary DTV is approved before I submit mine?

* Dependent's Income: Does the embassy scrutinize the dependent's finances/work, or are the marriage certificate and the primary applicant's bank statements sufficient?

You can't apply until your husband has been approved as you need to quote his DTV reference number in your application. Whether you also need 500k or whether your husband can simply supply a sponsorship letter varies by consulate

He has to get his and then you apply after his approval. You have to show a separate 500k Baht for your application. Either as a separate account in your name or 1 million in a joint account.
