I have visa exemption, how many times I can enter Thailad per year? Can I go out for some days and then come back for 30+30 days?

I read somewhere that once you leave Thailand, you have to reside in that country for 21 days before re-entering Thailand. Can someone let me know if this is true?

that is useful information. So just to reconfirm.. If my friend leaves Thailand, he can re-enter within a few days upon fulfilling the requirements set by the embassy? (Thaipass, insurance etc.)

„If you are rejected, you will return to the country of your passport.”

And that’s why most airlines insist that you have a return ticket valid within the first 30 days after a visa-exempt entry.

If you get rejected, the airlines must transport you back to your home country on their expenses. With a return ticket the airlines play safe.

There has been no announcement on the covid extension program being continued past the 26th of Nov (this friday) all you can do is watch the news like everyone.

As far as how many times you can enter on a visa exempt entry there is no officially published rule when entering by air. AND even though land borders are closed (once they do open up) I'm sure the rule that allows two 30 day visa exempt entries by land in a calendar year is still in effect

Hello Tod, hope you’re well. I’m a bit confused. As I understand too, the current Covid extension deadline is 26 Nov. However, in the pinned post, it’s mentioned 31 Dec? Is that a different thing?

it has not been signed off on or published in the royal gazette that I can find. It was only passed by the thai cabinet.

SO I would go with the premise that IF there's no announcement about it being extended that it will run out on Nov 26th
