I havent done it myself but know a group of 6 people that do this together every time they've reset. Out and back in same day. They make an adventure out of it. They never use agents lol. All these people trying to make money on people's ignorance is a sad business.

No, I took a plan to Kuala Lumpur in the morning, arrived there walked up from arrival to departure and came back. 😀 that's it. They only asked at immigration what do I work? And this time I came back last week from a trip they asked nothing

Self border run are not limited—but repeating same‑day exits and re‑entries may lead to increased scrutiny or refusal .

Same‑day border runs by land, e.g., sometimes incur a overcharge at the border and risk denial .

Some border crossings now require at least two nights abroad before re‑entry.
