I have looked at several posts about vietnam and thats where I am headed to apply for the DTV. I know all the requirements and have all the documentation, I am just a little confused about the e-visa process. Is the E-visa the same thing as the DTV? or do i actually go into the embassy in Ho Chi Minh and apply from there? Just trying to get clarification before I book a flight.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The e-Visa is an online application process for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV). Applicants do not need to visit an embassy in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to apply; the process can be completed online. Once approved, the e-Visa will be received as a PDF, and it will not appear as a stamp in the passport, though it will be referenced as a DTV. It is essential for applicants to ensure their arrival in HCMC or Danang for visa processing.
