TLDR : Answer Summary
The processing time for an electronic visa (DTV) application to Thailand from Ho Chi Minh City typically takes around 5 business days. However, some applicants have reported faster approvals, receiving their visa within a day but emphasized the need to prepare documentation as requested, which may extend the overall duration.

Just did it. Started last Monday night. Got it at noon. Allow yourself more time as they ask for documents one by one.

I ask you to update the additional document Do you know what remote documents are when you are a business owner?

It varies so much. We were going to do it as older nomads but decided to join a combat school (paid for tuition). However we had a biz pack ready. It included biz registration, where it is incorporated (ours was Australia) Certificate of employment/contract, engagement letter and a letter we wrote saying we had permission to work remotely. DM me for copies. Husband has them.

Can I ask you one more question? It pops up like this when I go to the site, so should I wait?

Hello, I received your email today. They tell me to update the additional paperwork. The bank evidence is probably because I didn't submit it in English. I submitted my ticket and hotel reservation document entry stamp as a document indicating my current location. I applied as a remote workstation. What else do you need in your portfolio??
Andi ***********
@**
Yeah, they need bank statements in English. you need to send an employment contract, employment certificate or portfolio choose one

The current location was a hotel stay for 2 days. Do you mean I should update it again because of that?

I have a business, so I submitted a business license and the reason why remote work is possible as a portfolio. But I don't know what the problem is

You need to submit a contract that you can work remotely. You can see in the threads other business owners did the same. make a contract to yourself to work remotely in Thailand, They did not ask to update your location but your application will be reset. When you submit the documents it will restart 5 more days. You can send them your new hotel dates if you want.

Thank you for your kind explanation. I don't have a remote contract, but I've explained why remote work is possible. Do you know any way to replace a contract?
