(DTV visa for business owners e.g LLC owned by 1 member) -
Has anyone applied for the DTV visa with success, for those who are managing their own business remotely (not employees of other businesses) and got granted the visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Several users have shared their experiences applying for the DTV visa as business owners. A common theme is the need for proper documentation, such as contracts that specify the ability to work remotely, proof of company registration, tax returns, and possibly an accountant's letter for new companies. Personal accounts indicate that many have successfully obtained the visa by providing this information, with some noting specific payment methods for application fees.
I am a business owner and recently applied for the DTV visa, I am hoping all goes well but we shall see and I will report my findings to the group. One thing I noticed when I applied it would not accept payment from my debit card. I could only use my Credit Card, strange!🤷♀️
If the company is newly formed and has not yet filed a tax return, they may request a signed accountants letter stating the accounts are in order and explaining this. It’s a simple one page letter with reference to the company and accounts.
Yes, me and my wife both have dtv visas. We own a company, they asked for company registration and tax returns. Along with the other photos and proof of address etc... both only took a few days in London.
I’ve read here that many business owners get the visa, as long as the right information is supplied. Just being the owner isn’t enough I’d believe you would also have to display proof that you are/can work remotely; a contract, an invoice and a bank statement showing payment seems to be the requirement.
