Hey guys,

so for entry with visa exemption, do I require money, insurance or a negative test (if no vaccine proof) right now?

I'm really sorry, I'm sure you discussed this a quadrillion times, but I'm finding contradictory information online (and didn't find the answer in recent posts).

For example, in a really recent post here I read 20'000 THB is required in cash, elsewhere I read 10'000 THB.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand with a visa exemption, the main requirement is to show 20,000 THB in cash (or equivalent in other currencies). The 10,000 THB requirement applies to those entering with a visa on arrival. Currently, there are no COVID-19 related entry requirements (such as insurance or negative tests) needed for visa-exempt travelers.

20k Baht or equivalent currency in cash, ticket departing Thailand within visa exemption period & accommodation booking (usually for first few days is fine).

These are the only requirements, 99.9% of the time immigration don't check, but they can if they want, so best to have them.

I came a few days ago and didn't have to show any of that, but I had it all prepared just Incase

If entering visa exempt you can be asked to show 20,000 baht or equivalent in another major currency, in cash only.

The 10,000 is for those entering with visa on arrival (not you).

Nothing covid related is required.
