Is My Non Immigrant O Visa Still Valid if I Couldn't Do a Border Run?

I entered Thailand on February 6th 2020 with a Non Immigrant O Visa/Multiple entry. This Visa is issued until February 2021.

On May 6th I would have had to run a border to get another permit for the next three month. This was not possible.

My questions about that...

Is this Visa still valid now? Or has it already expired because I couldn't go to the border.

If it is still valid I can then do a new border run with this Visa when the borders are open again?

Thanks in advance to everyone here..!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual seeks clarification about the validity of their Non-Immigrant O Visa after failing to perform a border run due to border closures. Community responses indicate that while the visa itself remains valid until its expiration date, the associated entry stamp may have expired, transitioning the individual into an amnesty period until July 31. All are advised to follow updates regarding visa situation changes.

Okay, heads up to ANYONE on a year-long, multi-entry Non-Immigrant visa of any type <- the kind you bounce out and back in on every 90 days.

Seeing as the country closed at the end of March <-(meaning that's the latest you could have entered the country) ALL of you are on expired 90 day entry stamps. That means you went on amnesty as soon as that stamp expired

AND

you wait until after the cabinet meeting on tuesday to see what they officially announce for amnesty holders.. Right now you're able to stay until the 31st of July.

Same situation as you.

Greetings to all..! We hope to know more in the next days. And a happy ending for everyone. We all have good reasons to be here in Thailand. If we didn't have them, we wouldn't need a yearly visa.

were we supposed to report to immigration that our visas expired in order to get amnesty or is everyone covered whose visas expired during the grace period

Same boat here. Multi entry Non-O visa expired June 17. Can't do a border run so now waiting to see what options I have.

Didn't get a chance to cross the border once.

You're not alone and I'm sure we're all waiting with a little apprehension as to what's going to happen next.

Before comments get closed on this one, I wanted to say I'm in the same boat too, but with a Non-Imm B so you are not alone! Cheers,

Visa is still valid you're stamp isn't as it has expired, I'm in the same boat, was due to depart on my trip in and out on the 25th April but couldn't

Your visa stays valid until the valid until date on the visa itself. You had to do a visa run, but due to closed borders you could not and went into the amnesty rule,

At the moment we are all waiting on an announcement what to do and how to continue as the last date was set 31 July.

Do like most of us, sit back, relax and follow the news.
