Tod Daniels If I've already had an extension way back in March prior to the first amnesty, is my embassy letter still acceptable for the extension after September? I was visa exempt as NZ passport holder when I first arrived. Thanks ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the validity of an embassy letter for a visa extension due to a previous extension before the amnesty, while also being a visa-exempt New Zealand passport holder. A commenter suggests waiting for official guidelines regarding the amnesty before making decisions, implying that a more recent letter might be necessary.

Seeing as the new amnesty didn't start yet (it starts on Aug 1) how about we wait for the official release, the proof that it's published in the royal gazette and the police order that spells out how it will be interpreted BEFORE we start worrying about what to do when it ends on Sept 26th?
IF I had to guess I'd say you'd need a NEW letter more recent than the one you have but that's just a guess
