TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual seeks advice on the best legal options for relocating to Thailand after obtaining a marriage certificate from a Thai embassy abroad. They are considering the need for a work permit due to resigning from their current job and are specifically looking for serious help regarding visa options.
If you want to be able to work in Thailand, then you only have 2 options, marriage visa or work visa. Neither of these are work restricted. But you cannot apply for the work visa without having an employer to sponsor you, and you cannot just "get" a work permit. Your employer applies for your work permit.
