TLDR : Answer Summary
A Danish individual on a multiple entry tourist visa seeks advice on the possibility of traveling to Penang to obtain a two-month visa before their departure date of January 26. Community members clarify necessary requirements for applying for a visa in Penang, such as proof of accommodation and onward travel, and discuss potential options for extensions within Thailand.
thanks... seen this. Just wanted to make sure that there was no problem getting a 60 days tourist wise in Penang after just having a multiple entry one from my home country.
By the way, even if your "enter before date" is past and your last stamp expires on 26th January, you can get a 30 day extension at Immigration Office paying 1,900 baht
i went out and back in before “the enter before date” as I am surpose to do... 30 nov.. so I have to leave before January 26... my question is.. have the rules changed since last year.
Last year I did one extension at my local immigration 1900 bath then I went to Penang and got 60 days and then I went to Denmark. This time I just hope to get 60 more days by going to Penang... I just can figure out if it’s still that easy
