Hi there, I came into Thailand on a two month visa from Australia and am heading to Hanoi next week. Does anyone know if it possible to get another two month tourist visa while I am in Hanoi, or is the 30 days on arrival my best bet when I return to Thailand? Thank you in anticipation.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat seeking information about obtaining a new tourist visa for Thailand while in Hanoi can apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa at the Thai Consulate. It is important to meet the requirements, including proof of funds (850 USD minimum), proof of onward travel, and the acceptance of US dollars for visa fees.

read AND meet the requirements on the Hanoi website and you should have no problem getting a single entry tourist visa. They require proof of funds (at least 850USD or the equivalent in a bank account), proof of onward travel AND they only take US dollars for the visa fees.

thank you for the quick response. By single entry tourist visa do you mean the two months one? Or just the one month version?
