TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can obtain a 60-day tourist visa from the Thai consulate in Hanoi. Users have reported that the process is straightforward and quick, with helpful staff and no lines. However, be aware that they only accept US dollars and require proof of funds and proof of onward travel.

it seems pretty simple. I just checked the website and it's the usual list of things.

just google the local embassy and check their requirements for the application. No agent there like in Penang but it’s a simple application process if you have everything they require. I’ve done KL twice and just done Yangon in Myanmar. Simple mate
