Does anybody know if it's possible to extend the expiry date of an OA Visa by about 10-20 days before leaving. Rather than extending for a whole year?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
An OA Visa can only be extended for an entire year, not for shorter periods like 10-20 days. However, individuals can apply for a 60-day Covid extension before a certain date for a fee, which is seen as a more practical option for those needing a short extension.

In theory if you only had 20 days left on your insurance and applied for a year’s extension they’d stamp you for 20 days. But that’s a lot of rigmarole for a 20 day stamp and you’d be better off getting a year and a re-entry permit.

60 day covid extension is your best option.

No it is only extendable by a year. If you apply before November 26th you could get a covid extension which would be 60 days.
