BKK DTV extension. Does anyone know if it's possible to book the appointment online? can't see any applicable options.

Answer summary

The conversation discusses whether it's possible to book an online appointment for a DTV (Digital Tourist Visa) extension in Bangkok. While some users suggest checking for options under the tourist visa category, others mention that appointments may not be necessary due to shorter wait times at the Chaengwattana Section J, where DTV extensions are handled. It appears that showing up with the correct documentation could suffice.

Seeing as the DTV is nothing more than a glorified "tourist visa" with the extensions on them given at Chaengwattana Section J (the tourist visa extension section)

You could try that choice

BUT

really Section J is not slammed to the point you need to make an appt really

Just show up with the correct documentation, get a queue for Section J, go over and get your documents checked and wait it out 🙂

I know you’re talking about DTV. My issue is with the wait to be seen. Not the processing time of the application.

I think you should READ what I typed. Your original post was about the DTV extension. Then your reply was about 90 day reporting

your first 90 day has to be in person.

Also what does bank balance have to do with wait time? The wait time is from when you get your ticket to the counter ?

Any idea what counter they use for DTV extensions in Bangkok? Would an appointment be possible?

It's Tourist Visa, so select that one I guess.
