Is it normal for the Thai immigration to delay contacting for a house inspection after extending my Non-O visa?

I went to extend my Non-o visa on November 26th and they gave me a stamp saying the visa is under consideration and said to return on  December 25th to collect my Visa.

They also told me that they would call and schedule a house inspection within the month.

They have not yet called me and I'm just curious if this is normal? 

I plan on going into immigration on Monday to see if there is anything else I need to do.

From my experience they may or may not actually visit your home. They may confirm you are residing where you say through the local police department.

If there is a problem you will most likey be notified ... otherwise, go back when instructed.
