Is it normal to be asked to return on the last day for my Non-O 90 day visa outcome?

ORIGINAL POSTER
Applied for the Non-O 90days (Jomthein) today. Took 4 iterations (needing 4 queue numbers), to address the 'gaps'. 17x3 set pages submitted. Received the receipt 'come back on June 7th".

Question, as my current extension (off of the original visa exempt) is valid until June 7th, is it normal to be asked to come back on the same last day for the Non-O 90 day 'outcome result'. Doesn't give any room for contingency planning if is declined for any reason.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user recently applied for the Non-O 90-day visa and is concerned about being asked to return on the last day of their current extension for the outcome. The response from the community indicates that it is normal for that specific office to request a return on the same day. Moreover, it is noted that applications for the Non-O visa are typically not declined after receiving the receipt for the outcome. In the unlikely event of a denial, there is an option to obtain a short-term extension.

100% normal for that office.

As an aside; I have never seen an application for the 90 day Non-O be declined after you applied, paid the 2000baht and got the 'come back for the results' receipt date.

Now, worst case, if you were denied the Non-O ๐Ÿ˜ฎ you'd be able to buy a 7 day "extension denied" stamp that gave you a week to get out of thailand for 1900baht

I would say you're fine and now it's just a waiting game..

Go back on that date with the receipt and the passport and they'll ink in a Non-O visa (stamp USED on it) then give you a new 90 day stamp
