My husband just applied for one year extension base on marriage and he is under consideration for 30 days. They already visited our home and said we need to go back on the last days of the 30 days extension. Is this something common to check on the last day ?

Then better a person in charge should go and ask to OP to clarify which region he/she will be visited on next appointment. Sharing the basic procedure of getting the result after 30 days under considerations stamp, must be same.

I think that's normal. You go there on the date stamped on the passport to get your final extension stamped. Btw how many days after the submission did they come for a visit. And did they call you before visiting?

we went on Monday and they came on Wednesday. They let me know one day ahead to prepare the witness and documents.

Yes...normal procedure.

And do NOT spend any of the 400,000 Thai baht in his Thai bank until AFTER he has final approval and the one year extension in his passport.

Normal procedure, he just goes back and collects his stamp. Eventually they will ask for the bankbook, CW does that.
