TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are on a one-year visa extension based on marriage to a Thai national and divorce while the extension is valid, the extension becomes invalid immediately upon signing the divorce decree. You must cancel the marriage extension at the immigration office and apply for a new extension for a different reason. Failing to do so timely will result in overstaying penalties.
