Is it a problem if I received a "W. 30" entry stamp instead of a visa stamp when entering Thailand?

Hello. I entered with a valid Single-Entry Non-Immigrant B Visa, but noticed after I went through immigration that the officer gave me a regular "W. 30" entry stamp on one of my passport pages, and didn't stamp the visa itself. Is this a problem?

Thanks for your help. ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user entered Thailand with a valid Single-Entry Non-Immigrant B Visa but received a regular 'W. 30' entry stamp instead of a visa stamp. Responses indicate that this is a common oversight and recommend that the user visit the nearest immigration office to have the stamp corrected and ensure the Non-B visa is properly canceled.

Yep. Always check their work before you walk away.

You're not the first person who didn't check their arrival stamp before they walked away from passport control stamping into the country and I have a feeling you won't be the last either ;)

You need to go to the closest immigration off and get your stamp corrected AND get the Non-B visa canceled. It's free

. Same for me. I did it two weeks ago at changwattana. They have a form. You have to fill out and get your ticket. They will change your stamp.

Because it's only a single entry...it's used.
