TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can obtain health insurance from a Thai company with a DTV (Digital Nomad) visa. There are no specific visa requirements for acquiring health insurance in Thailand. However, the availability and conditions may vary depending on the insurance company. Some users noted they faced challenges obtaining insurance under a tourist visa but anticipated better acceptance with a DTV visa.
I tried to get on a tourist visa, but they said no. But they did say that if I come with a DTV they would allow it. But, I haven’t actually put it to the test yet.

It’s still just a tourist visa not resident visa - imo Thai insurance you may as well flush the money down the toilet instead
Yes but with the DTV visa now, I’m inquiring whether it’s possible to get an insurance with a Thai based company. I already have international.

Anonymous participant better to do international company anyway, they cover Thailand without upfronting the money and then asking for reimbursement
