Greetings, may I ask who people are using for health insurance that are staying on the DTV visa? I’m currently using travel insurance, which will run out and very interested in what people are finding out there for long-term coverage. I do have a pre-existing condition if you call that as I had a kidney transplant 18 years ago, but regarding that everything has been normal ever since. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking recommendations for health insurance suitable for DTV visa holders in Thailand, particularly for those with pre-existing conditions, such as a history of kidney transplant. Several commenters, including insurance agents and individuals with positive experiences, recommend contacting specific insurance agencies and brokers, citing companies like Allianz, and others like Fontaine Kevin Heiss's wife, as well as Signa and Genki.world. The conversation emphasizes the importance of finding a policy that accommodates pre-existing conditions and highlights the need for advice from knowledgeable agents.
I went with Signa got 20% and paying £147 a month that’s for inpatient cover for Thailand, they cover my home country too for I think 3 months, and I get 45 days cover traveling outside of Thailand
I’m legally an insurance agent with Allianz Thailand and succeeded in helping several customers to get the local heath insurance plan with proper supporting documents.
Please let me know if you want to try applying with Allianz. I’m willing to help to sort out.
Ok as the chances of anyone in this group having a kidney transplant 18 years ago is 0.01%, I suggest you contact an agent who can advise you the best policy, more importantly one that will accept you with such a pre existing condition. Contact
I just added that bit of info about the Transplant, but I have an encounter in any issues with somebody saying as a pre-existing condition from 18 years ago. Just want basic advice on where people are finding their insurance. Thank you.
