Hi all,

The DTV application document that I found states that my business registration and employment contract have to be authenticated by the embassy of the country where my business is registered. Is the authentication actually necessary?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for authentication of business registration and employment contracts for the DTV application is contingent on the embassy's policies. If the document explicitly states that authentication is necessary, it should be provided. It's advisable to follow the guidelines as outlined in the application to ensure compliance.

If that's what it states then yes !

How is that not clear if it's literally in writing 🤦‍♂️

Depends on Embassy, if the Embassy asks for it, the you have to supply it.

That’s one of the reasons that makes it best to apply in your homecountry.
