Is a UK passport expiring one day before the six-month validity acceptable for entry to Thailand?

So on the government website is states that UK Passport must be valid for 6 months on entry to Thailand, this is fine as ours will be. The issue is our passports run out on May 15th and we fly home from Thailand on Nov 16th, which is 1 day less than 6 months. As we have 6 months valid on entry will this be ok?

I have tried contacting the Thai Embassy in London with no luck and don't want to renew our passports before our trip if we don't have to 🤔

Thailand doesn't care about how much time you have left on your passport other than you won't be stamped in for longer than your passport validity

It says 6 months on entering Thailand. Can't see anything else. Doesn't say anything about needing 6 months when you leave.

 I arrived back in UK from Thailand in July with a German passport expiring in 15 days and nothing was said So with UK passport surely there is no problem

You can even fly to your home country with an expired passport. You only need 6 months validity to fly internationally when it's not flying back to your passport country.
