Hi Gents

Quick question regarding my passport. Due to return to Thailand for 60 days on April 03rd the passport expires 23rd October. Will they still let you enter with that expiry date as it still has just about 6 months left upon arrival.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether their passport, which expires on October 23rd and has about 6 months of validity left upon arrival in Thailand on April 3rd, will be accepted for entry. Responses indicate that as long as the passport has at least 6 months of validity on the date of entry, there should be no issues for entering Thailand. However, if the return flight covers transit through another country, additional passport validity checks may apply, and renewing the passport is recommended.

You’ll have 6 months validity remaining when you check in to travel TO Thailand, so you’ll be good for that sector. If your return sector is directly from Thailand to your home (passport issuing) country, you should be OK, however if you’re flying via anywhere else, that respective country may not permit you to travel. I would recommend caution, and renew your passport. You could also check with your chosen airline. Good luck.

Your passport will be valid for 6 months still when you depart for Thailand so there should be no issues.
