TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler inquired about entering Thailand on an e-VOA while having a passport that expires in less than six months. Many commenters advised checking with the airline, emphasizing that some airlines may not allow boarding with less than six months validity on the passport. Ultimately, the traveler reported success upon returning from their trip, indicating that their e-VOA was approved despite the passport issue.

Dear All, just an update, I finished my trip and back to India, since it was a Visa On arrival and 11 days stay, my visa was approved despite my passport being less than 6 months expiry. thanks!

Thailand regulations requires the pp to be valid for 6 months beyond your intended stay. When the airline scans your pp it will highlight pp not valid for travel.

The rules are you must have a clear 6 months left on your passport when you are leaving Thailand

You are asking this question when you fly in 4 days, unbelievable.

Some airlines insist on at least 6 months left on a passport. Good luck.

mate I did apply passport renewal, due to unconditional situation it didn't get through and I don't want to loose money by postponing this trip if we have any exception.

I would think if you have your return flight already booked, you will be fine. But yeah, check your airline.

I think the real question is will your airline allow you to board the plane. I'd call and ask.
