Hello everyone,

I would like to ask you about 15 days no-visa entrance to Thailand.

My tourist 90 days visa is finishing 10 March 2018. My plan is to move for 2-3 days to different country (Malaysia/Laos, by land border) and come back for next two weeks to Thailand to stay here a little bit longer.

Are there any problems to get 2-weeks no-visa entry stamp if I spent 3 months in Thailand before?

Also my passport is being expired on 11th September 2018 (So on 12th/13th March validity is less than 6 months, just few days). Is it make impossible to get no-visa stamp for 15 days?

Thanks for any advices and have a great day, Guys !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about re-entering Thailand for 15 days without a visa after their 90-day tourist visa expires, specifically asking about the implications of having a passport that is valid for less than 6 months. Responses indicate that while there is no requirement for six months validity on the passport for entry into Thailand itself, restrictions apply for entering neighboring countries (like Malaysia or Laos) due to their rules. Furthermore, it was noted that 15-day no-visa entry stamps are no longer issued, as they were replaced with 30-day visa-exempt entries, with a limit of two such entries from land borders in a calendar year.

There is no rule you need 6 months on your passport to enter thailand. You only need as much time on it as you're being stamped in for. However the countries that border thailand require you have 6 months on your passport to get in to them (so be advised). You also need at least 6 months on your passport if you're going to BUY a visa for thailand at a thai consulate.

IATA states 6 months is required, so the airline may enforce the rule but immigration probably wouldn't.

There is no such thing as a 15 day visa exempt entry stamp anymore. They were discontinued on Dec 31st, 2016. Now those people get 30 day visa exempt entries by air and land. However you are limited to TWO 30 day visa exempt entries by land in a calendar year.
