TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a Non-O visa based on retirement in Thailand, a pension value statement alone may not be sufficient. It is advisable to provide both a pension statement and a bank statement showing deposits from that pension. This information is corroborated by community experiences and guidance from the eVisa and Thai Consulate websites.

A pension value statement is not the same as a pension in payment. A value statement only shows what the current pot is worth and not what is being paid per month.
