Is a Notice Deposit Account Valid for Proof of Funds for Visa Applications in Thailand?
Dear group, I have some questions on the proof of funds.
I was wondering if money on a notice deposit account is a valid proof of funds for the application? For anyone wondering what it is, it is a savings account with a notice period of 90 days.
And also, has anyone applied with a letter from the bank stating that their savings have been above the required 500.000 baht for the last 3 months, as to not have to give out the details of that savings account, like account number etc.? I have used it successfully for a 6 months visa some years ago, but unsure if I should dare to do the same for the DTV.

Enough real money in a real account for long enough is the requirement.

The money needs to be in an account that is immediately accessible. So a fixed term deposit type will not work. The embassy will most likely want to see your bank statement with transactions and your name and account number on it
