Hello everyone,

I'm applying for the DTV (Workcation) via the London embassy and would love to hear from anyone with a similar experience.

I have a remote work agreement allowing me to work abroad and meet the required 3+ month bank savings. However, my monthly salary is below standard minimum wage thresholds.

Does the London embassy strictly enforce a minimum monthly income for the DTV if the required savings are fully met? Has anyone successfully been approved with a lower salary relying on savings?

Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

The financial requirement is 500k, there is no income requirement unless that is requested later as proof of remote working.

There is no minimum income requirement. The minimum wage income is not enforced via the London embassy. I had that concern when i first looked into applying for the DTV via London due to just changing to remote work. London assured me income was not a problem and to apply which i did although i got it via Taipei in the end. I know several UK applicants approved with lower than minimum wage income. Showing additional savings to the 500k is a major plus with low income.
