Hello everyone !

Has anyone recently applied for the DTV visa in Vietnam or Cambodia using their crypto account (such as Binance) as proof of 500k Baht ?

Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa application process does not accept crypto accounts such as Binance as proof of the required 500,000 Baht. It must be demonstrated through a personal bank account, specifically with six months of statements showing the funds. Most embassies do not accept cryptocurrency as valid proof of funds.

Does it have to be 6 months of bank statements really?

if you have a friend that got approved with it 3 weeks ago, why are you asking if anyone has been successful recently? You already have your friend’s claim. However, from what we have seen on here, it has not been successful.

I mean, it’s one of them… you could submit, could get approved. But then, you could submit and they refuse it. At which point they may have you reapply, and pay again.

If it was me, I’d cash out to bank, get a statement showing balance and move it back. Seems ridiculous, but if it’s just for the bureaucracy, kinda have to go with what they say I guess.

You could then also include your binance statements as additional proof of available funds.

Several people have received the DTV visa by submitting a Binance account.

But that was a few weeks ago, so I wanted to get in touch with someone who has done it recently.
