I have an under consideration stamp for Oct 25th however I'll be out of BKK. How crucial is it to close out the stamp on or before that date. I've never "overstayed" on regular visa stamps or voa exemptions. My question is can I close out the under consideration stamp a few days after? How strict with they be at immigration, will there be overstayed fines imposed?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The deadline for closing out an under consideration stamp in Thailand is strict, and it is generally required to complete this process on or before the specified date. Reports indicate that immigration officials may not allow individuals to close out the stamp early and may instruct them to return on the exact date. It is advisable to contact the immigration office where the stamp was issued before leaving and explain your circumstances, but it's important to note that immigration authorities have no obligation to provide leniency.

There's little or no leeway and as a general rule you can't close it out before the under consideration date comes up. (They have sent people who showed up early away and told them to come back ON the date)

All you can do is go back to the immigration office that gave you the under consideration stamp BEFORE you leave town, explain what's going on and see what they say.

Just so you know they are under no obligation to bend in the least though. :/

Good Luck with it
