TLDR : Answer Summary
If your 90-day report is due on a Saturday when immigration offices are closed, you can report either the day before, Friday, or you have up to 7 days after your due date to file your report without penalty. It's recommended to complete the report online at least 15 days prior to your due date to avoid any complications.

Always do it as early as possible (15 days before) and on-line to save you all these worries.

you may have had better luck.

For years, only 1 in 3 on lines work.

Don't know if it's a provincial glitch......or human error !

The new system seems much more stable. They even send reminders when your next one is due. You can do online 14 (maybe 15) days before and unlike the old system you can do them up to 7 days late.

if dond 15 days early, does your 90 day start from that date, if so why not wait.

There’s no real downside to doing it early. Sure the date starts from when you’ve been approved, but so what. It’s not like you’re losing time on visa days or anything, just moving the next 90 day report forward a bit.
