Hi there

Just received request for more information. First one for proof of location should be straight forward. Second one - I had money in one account and then I split it to get a higher interest rate in like a deposit saver account that cannot have transactions against it. This was about 4 months ago. The other account I have is a joint account and that one is also where I can highlight transactions for payslips against it for past 6 months. I changed the transactions to the account just under my name around 2 months ago. So do I combine all these bank accounts and should I put an explaination letter as well. Finally 2 years tax receipts - I am assuming g personal not a business and I have not completed the 24/25 tax return yet because I do not have to compete this until March this year.

Any advice or help would be appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to respond to requests for documentation related to their Thai visa application, specifically concerning proof of funds from multiple bank accounts and tax receipts. Comments from the community suggest that clarity and simplicity in submissions are essential, as Thai authorities prefer straightforward information. Several comments also highlight frustrations related to applying from Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and suggest alternatives like consulting an agent or applying from a different location.

I’m guessing this is HCMC.

I recently got denied which I am assuming because I could not provide proof of tax.

This has to be HCMC right? Worst city to apply from, probably one of the most sctrict right now. They did the same to me, even requested translated taxes by an agency, over 100 pdf pages in the end. Dont do in hcmc folks. They will drive you crazy

Point 2: dude, Thai love when things go straight to the point as they requested. 6 months with over 500k with a salary going there regularly. There are folks that despite having over six digits $ into crypto and stocks, their application got denied. Keep it simple

For point two you're giving long explanations. They won't care, tho, it's either comply whatever they're asking for, or risking a rejection.

Ok I would have that. Is it safe to use a joint account then?

Possibly, but not wise to do so... who is the joint bank account person? Relative to you?

that's likely going to be a problem for you. Suggest you have a bank account in your name only showing a balance of 500,000 Thai baht or More, for the time required by the Thai Embassy or Consulate where you are going to apply for the DTV visa....HCMC Ho Chi Minh City.

Where are you going to apply for the DTV visa? HCMC Ho Chi Minh City.

Your passport nation is? ???

What purpose for the DTV visa will you be applying for?

Workcation .

what about a letter outlining the situation. I mean it is ridiculous that it cannot be a joint account either. Meaning with 2 peoples name on the account

normally for joint accounts you need double the money as only half belongs to you
